Sunday evening, fifteen former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes in a NBA game. Below I look into and share each of their NBA performances from May 9.

I may be wrong but 15 player might be the most for one day. If not, it’s definitely tied for the most.

Best of the day: Anthony Davis

• Anthony Davis (Perspectives/Lakers)- 41 minutes, a game-high 42 points, 13/27 FG, 1/5 FG, 15/17 FT, 3 offensive rebounds, a game-high 12 rebounds, 5 assists, a team-high 3 steals (tied with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Alex Caruso), a game-high 3 blocks, and and a game-high +26 in a 123-110 win over the Suns.

• Talen Horton-Tucker (Simeon/Lakers)- 21 minutes, 7 points, 3/7 FG, 1/2 3PT, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, 2 turnovers, and +0 in a 123-110 win over the Suns.

• Frank Kaminsky (Benet/Suns)- 25 minutes, 9 points, 4/9 FG, 0/3 3PT, 1/2 FT, a team-high 6 rebounds (tied with Deandre Ayton and Devin Booker), 5 assists, a block, a turnover, and -5 in a 123-110 loss to the Lakers.

• Jevon Carter (Proviso East/Suns)- 5 minutes, 3 points, 1/1 FG, 1/1 3PT, a rebound, and +2 in a 123-110 loss to the Lakers.

• Kendrick Nunn (Simeon/Heat)- 24 minutes, 12 points, 5/11 FG, 2/6 3PT, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and +2 in a 130-124 win over the Celtics.

• Andre Iguodala (Lanphier/Heat)- 12 minutes, 4 points, 2/4 FG, 0/1 3PT, a rebound, 3 assists, 2 turnovers, and +0 in a 130-124 win over the Celtics.

• Derrick Rose (Simeon/Knicks)- 32 minutes, a team-high 25 points, 11/17 FG, 2/3 3PT, 1/1 FT, 6 rebounds, a team-high 8 assists, a steal, a game-high 4 turnovers (tied with Julius Randle), and +7 in a 106-100 win over the Clippers. Can people stop calling this “Vintage D Rose” or something along those lines because he’s been doing this for quite awhile now. Get with it people.

• Patrick Beverly (Marshall/Clippers)- 16 minutes, 3 points, 1/4 FG, 1/3 3PT, a rebound, an assist, 2 turnovers, and -7 in a 106-100 loss to the Knicks.
• Jalen Brunson (Stevenson/Mavericks)- 19 minutes, 13 points, 5/5 FG, 3/3 3PT, a rebound, a team-high 7 assists, a team-high 2 steals (tied with Luka Doncic and Josh Richardson), a turnover, and +26 in a 124-97 win over the Cavaliers.

• Brodric Thomas (Bolingbrook/Cavaliers)- 23 minutes, 13 points, 4/6 FG, 2/2 3PT, 3/4 FT, 3 rebounds, an assist, a team-high 2 blocks, a game-high 3 turnovers, and -19 in a 124-97 loss to the Mavericks.
