After an eventful Monday filled with strong performances, new starters, and a camp announcement, Tuesday was rather quiet. Just four former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes in various NBA games and none really stuck out.

Best of the Day: Robert Covington
- Robert Covington (Proviso West/Los Angeles Clippers)- 21 minutes, 8 points, 3/4 FG, 2/3 3PT, a rebound, and +20 in a 121-115 win over the Utah Jazz.
Rest of the Day’s Performances:
- Ayo Dosunmu (Morgan Park/Chicago Bulls)- 27 minutes, 4 points, 2/5 FG, 0/1 3PT, a rebound, a team-high 6 assists, and +3 in a 107-94 win over the Washington Wizards.
- Jalen Brunson (Stevenson/Dallas Mavericks)- 31 minutes, 12 points, 3/12 FG, 0/3 3PT, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and +8 in a 128-110 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
- Talen Horton-Tucker (Simeon/Los Angeles Lakers)- 17 minutes, 12 points, 4/11 FG, 2/6 3PT, an assist, a game-high 2 steals (tied with Dallas’ Reggie Bullock), a turnover, and -1 in a 128-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
