Thursday, Major League Baseball All Star Game voting closed and the roster was announced. The roster is packed with stars such as Shohei Ohtani, Fernando Tatis Jr., and many others. But none younger than Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

At 22 years, 119 days old, Vlad Guerrero Jr. will be the youngest Toronto Blue Jays player to start in the All Star Game.

Guerrero continues to make a name for himself even while playing under his father’s shadow/MLB success.

This season, he leads the league in runs batted in and is among the top players in several other stat categories.

Vladimir Guerrero. Jr & Sr. joins Bob & Brett Boone, Ray & Bob Boone, Bobby & Barry Bonds, and Cecil & Prince Fielder to start at least 1 All-Star Game and have a son start one (via Sarah Lang).
