The 2022 Major League Baseball season is not even over but the league is wanting to get the fans excited with their latest announcement. Wednesday, MLB dropped their 2023 schedule of games which has brought a handful of big changes for the upcoming season.

They include:

  • Every team will play every other team at least once.
    • Less divisional games.

  • Every team plays on Opening Day, Jackie Robinson Day, Lou Gehrig Day, July 4, Roberto Clemente Day, and Game 162.

These changes will result in new matchups, rivalries, and will have an interesting twist moving forward.

  • Opening Day– Thursday, March 30, 2023
  • Jackie Robinson Day– Saturday, April 15, 2023
  • Lou Gehrig Day– Friday, June 2, 2023
  • London Series– June 24 and 25, 2023
  • All-Star Game– Tuesday, July 11, 2023
  • MLB Little League Classic– Sunday, August 20, 2023
  • Roberto Clemente Day– Friday, September 15, 2023
  • Game 162- Sunday, October 1, 2023
