The Los Angeles Lakers are 2-7 and 14th in the Western Conference after two weekend losses this weekend which included a 130-116 Friday night loss to the Utah Jazz. This loss and a Jordan Clarkson dunk resulted in a top-notch troll photo.
Slam Magazine posted a Tik Tok video sharing the two angles of Clarkson’s dunk. For those that don’t remember: Clarkson once played for the Lakers and even is a former Cavs teammate of James.
A lot of different emotions are shown on all involved in the two images. And I have some ideas of what each might be thinking.
- Jordan Clarkson- He’s probably just enjoying the moment.
- LeBron James- He is a tactical guy and is already thinking of ways to get rid of his “Sixth Man” for the 2020-21 Sixth Man of the Year (a.k.a. Jordan Clarkson).
- Russell Westbrook- He knows his clock is ticking but he’s going to go H.A.M. while on the court no matter what the haters say.
- Jazz Teammates- Just having a grand a ol’ time while there teammate just destroys the Lakers dreams.
- Lakers Fans- They are struggling but at least there football team is 6-2 and in second in the NFC East (Cowboys).
To add more pain to the injury: That Jazz teams is near the top of the standings with their 8-3 record.
Clarkson finished the evening with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and no turnovers.
Don’t Worry Just Yet
If there are any Lakers fans reading this right now, don’t worry just yet. It is only early November and there are still 74 regular season games to go. And teams that are led by LeBron James have missed the playoffs just four times in his 19 year career.
Lakers seek revenge tonight against the Jazz at Vivint Arena in Salt Laker City, Utah.
