The show was about a group of six friends in Chicago that all participated in a fantasy football league together. During the course of the show’s seven seasons, the viewer watched the great lengths this group would go to have a successful team no matter the consequences.

It was quite unique because they decided to film rather close to the airing of episodes so the actual football related content would be as accurate as possible. Also, it hand so many guest appearance from notable actors and those involved in football like NFL greats Terry Bradshaw, Antonio Gates, Deion Sanders, and so many more.

The show also brought tons of active players for those time periods like Jay Cutler, Matt Forte, Josh Cribbs, Maurice Jones-Drew, and J.J. Watt…just to name a few.

It debut at a time my friends and I started to venture into fantasy sports and it taking place in Chicago made it feel closer to home. I recall tuning into the show each week and even meeting up with friends to watch when it aired live.

A favorite character of mine and my friends was Taco MacArthur played by Jon Lajoie. When it came to Taco you could not predict what he was going to say or do but you knew it would be something so absurd.

I am a big fan of someone Lajoie’s other works like this “The Phonecall” audio joke.

If you have not seen it, go watch it. It is available on Hulu right now
