Jevon Carter (Proviso East) scored just 22 points this season entering the Chicago Bulls matchup against the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday.

Carter saw increased minutes with the absence of Ayo Dosunmu (Morgan Park) and made the most of his opportunity.

The 29-year-old finished with a 26 points (19 in the first quarter) in Chicago’s loss to Atlanta.

In the loss, Carter set new season-highs in minutes played, points, field goals, field goals made, three point field goals, three point field goals made, rebounds, and assists.
