New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (Stevenson) dropped nine of his 55 points in an overtime win against the Washington Wizards (136-132).

Brunson was limited to just 13 points in the first half but went to work in the second half and set some new personal-bests.

He set new season-highs in points, field goal attempts, made free throws, and free throw attempts while also tying his three point attempts totals.

His 16 made free throws is also a new career-high. His 17 free throw attempts match his career-high set on March 14, 2023 against Portland.

Brunson has been a major piece for the third place Knicks (22-10) but has them red-hot in the month of December. New York has won seven straight games and are 11-2 in December.
