Next month, Chicago Bulls are set to honor homegrown talent Derrick Rose (Simeon). They are hosting a big celebration for the youngest NBA MVP on January 4 against the New York Knicks. Two teams Rose played for during his NBA days. The date of this celebration matches number significant to his career.
- January is 1- His number with Chicago Bulls as well Cleveland Cavaliers (2018).
- 4- His number during his second stint with the New York Knicks (2021-23).
- 2025 so 25- His number in high school at Simeon as well as his first stint with the Knicks (2017). Rose also wore it with the Minnesota Timberwolves (2018-19) and the Detroit Pistons (2020-21)
Their social media team brought Rose and his teammate Joakim Noah. The two consider themselves more than teammates and more like brothers. The two got together recently and went down memory lane.
