Cooper Flagg Lights Up Cameron Indoor Stadium

Cooper Flagg is taking over college basketball.

Despite some early critics, Flagg has been setting the tone for the Blue Devils as of late.

Duke has now won nine straight games after their 76-47 win over Pittsburgh and Flagg has led them in points in six of those games.

The potential first pick in the NBA draft finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, a steal, a block, and three turnovers in the win.

Flagg got rolling in the second half, scoring 14 of his 19 points. The biggest play of the night game on a coast-to-coast, poster dunk on Paanthers’ Guillermo Diaz Graham early in the second half.

Ageless wonder LeBron James

LeBron James turned 40 years old on December 30.

While many are blinded by G.O.A.T conversations, some fans have chosen to enjoy greatest while they still can.

James has been in the league since Fall of 2003 and has remained pretty consistent as he continues to deliver big-time plays.

Tuesday night, James finished with a near triple-double (19 points/10 rebounds/eight assists) but the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Dallas Mavericks on the road.

Losses sting for a team hoping to sniff the playoffs but the King delivered with a highlight dunk in the first quarter.

Max Christie gets an offensive rebound on a Rui Hachimura attempt. Christie quickly sees a cutting-James which he follows up with a dunk. Not just any dunk but a dunk over 20-year-old Dereck Lively II- a player born after James was drafted to the NBA.

Moments like the one above will soon come to an end. For now, sold-out crowds will continue to bear witness to the King.

The one thing LeBron James failed to deliver fans during his storied run was never entering the dunk contest during All-Star weekend.

This should hurts his G.O.A.T. conversations more than anything else people will bring up.

Zion Williamson 360 Dunk

Zion Williamson returned to action on Tuesday night for New Orleans Pelicans after being out since early November. He missed the previous 27 games with a left hamstring strain.

Through his six games entering the night, the former No. 1 pick is averaging 22.7 points, eight rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks per games.

Williamson tallied 22 points with six rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block in his return to the court.

Despite the loss (104-97), Williamson’s play is an encouraging sight for the Pelicans. His performance was highlighted by two big dunks.

The first dunk came on an assist from CJ McCollum for his second points of the night with 8:04 left in the first quarter.

His second highlight reel dunk came early in the third quarter. Williamson gets a steal and does a 360 windmill dunk with 10:40 to extend New Orleans lead.

NBA Ratings and future NBA rating should be more than fine with jaw-dropping plays like these dunks above. Also, a healthy Zion Williamson could be the missing piece for another NBA team as the trade market surrounding him continues to heat up.
