Olivier-Maxence Prosper (Lake Forest) and Max Christie (Rolling Meadows) both came off the bench in Dallas Mavericks 127-120 win over Boston Celtics. Prosper had zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3PT) with an offensive rebound, two assists, three steals, and a -3 plus-minus in 14 minutes. This was Prosper’s 41st appearance which sets a new career-high for games. Christie played much better. He 15 points (6-13 FG, 0-3 3PT, 3-5 FT) with six rebounds (two offensive), four assists, a block, and a +5 plus-minus in 30 minutes. His five free throw attempts were a game-high tied with two others. His two offensive rebounds were a team-high tied with two others. Christie has come off the bench in both of his Mavericks appearance but is averaging 30.8 minutes per game. Drew Peterson (Libertyville) played 10 minutes in the Celtics loss and had three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3PT) with a rebound, three assists, and a +17 plus-minus. His plus-minus was a team-high tied with two others. Peterson is 5-for-8 over his last five games which includes 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.

Terrence Shannon Jr. (Lincoln Park) played seven minutes and had five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3PT) with an assist and a -2 plus-minus in Minnesota Timberwolves 127-114 win over the Houston Rockets. His five points matched his season-high set on December 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Fred VanVleet (Auburn) did not play in the loss due to a sprained right ankle.

G League

Ben Coupet (Simeon) started in Windy City Bulls loss to the Grand Rapids Gold. He had seven points (3-10 FG, 1-5 3PT) with three rebounds (one offensive), an assist, a steal, block, two turnovers, and a -9 plus-minus in 38 minutes.
