Max Strus (Stagg) scores a season-high 24 points in a road loss on Tuesday.

Los Angeles Clippers defeated Cleveland Cavaliers, 132-119. Max Strus (Stagg) started for the Cavs and made the first shot of the game and the first two for his team. He finished the night with a team-high 24 points (8-12 FG, 5-8 3PT, 3-3 FT) with four rebounds (two offensive), an assist, and a -2 plus-minus in 26 minutes. His eight made field goals were a team-high. His five made 3-pointers were a game-high tied with Los Angeles’ Kawhi Leonard. His 24 points sets a new season- his previous high 17 which he has done four times. He matched his season in made threes with five which he has now done five times. Strus is averaging 12.1 points with 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and less than a turnover per game in March (nine games). He’s also shooting 41 percent from beyond the arc (25-61 3PT).

G League Games

Rio Grande Valley Vipers defeated San Diego Clippers, 121-108. Cam Christie (Rolling Meadows) started for San Diego. He had four options (1-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT) with five rebounds, three assists, a steal, two blocks, two turnovers, and a +2 plus-minus in 29 minutes.
