Max Strus (Stagg) celebrated his 29th birthday on Friday.

He was inactive and out for the Cleveland Cavaliers 133-122 loss to the Detroit Pistons. It was for injury management involving his right ankle.

Also, his annual Max Strus Basketball Camp registration opened. The event takes place at Strus’ old high school in Palos Hills, Illinois. It is four days long beginning on July 14 through the 17th. There are two sessions each day- one for 2nd-5th grade and another for 6th-8th grade

Golden States Warriors defeated Golden State Warriors, 111-95. Rookie guard Antonio Reeves (Simeon) came off the bench for New Orleans for the 36th time. South Bay Lakers defeated Iowa Wolves, 127-123. Nojel Eastern (Evanston) did not play in the loss due to an injury/illness.

Wisconsin Herd defeated San Diego Clippers, 107-95. Cam Christie (Rolling Meadows) started for San Diego in their loss. He had 12 points (5-17 FG, 2-7 3PT, 0-1 FT) with three rebounds (two offensive), an assist, a block, and a -13 plus-minus in 34 minutes.

Rio Grande Valley Vipers defeated Stockton Kings, 113-102. Chasson Randle (Rock Island) came off the bench for Stockton. He had two points (1-5 FG, 0-3 3PT) with a rebound, three assists, two steals, a block, a turnover, and a -2 plus-minus in 25 minutes.
