His field goals and field goal attempts were game-highs. His four made free throws were a team-high while his free throw attempts were a team-high tied with two others. His two offensive rebounds were a team-high. This was Davis’ first game with double digit rebounds since his return from injury.
Christie had 11 points (3-10 FG, 2-7 3PT, 3-3 FT) with three rebounds, a turnover, and a team-high +9 plus-minus in 25 minutes. Christie is shooting 86.8 percent (46-53 3PT) from beyond the arc since joining the Mavs.
Cleveland Cavaliers defeated New York Knicks, 124-105. Max Strus (Stagg) started for Cavs. He had eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3PT) with five rebounds (two offensive), two assists, a team-worst three turnovers, and a +1 plus-minus in 23 minutes. Strus has failed to score in double digits in just 25 of his 46 games.
Indiana Pacers defeated Charlotte Hornets, 119-105. RayJ Dennis (Oswego East) did not play for the Pacers in the win.
Washington Wizards defeated Sacramento Kings, 116-111. Richaun Holmes (Lockport) came off the bench in the win. He had two points (1-1 FG) with a -2 plus-minus in two minutes. This was just the second Holmes has failed to get rebound in the game- the last came on November 2.
Miami Heat defeated Boston Celtics, 124-103. Drew Peterson (Libertyville) had three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3PT) with a -6 plus-minus in five minutes. This was his first field goal since February 26.
Houston Rockets defeated Utah Jazz, 143-105. Fred VanVleet (Auburn) did not play in the win due to his sore right ankle.
Los Angeles Clippers defeated New Orleans Pelicans, 114-98. Cam Christie (Rolling Meadows) came off the Clippers bench for the ninth time this season. He had zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3PT) with a -2 plus-minus in three minutes. Christie has scored in four his nine appearances. Pelicans rookie guard Antonio Reeves (Simeon) made his second straight start for New Orleans, He had 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3PT) with an assist, a turnover, and a -9 plus-minus in 33 minutes. His time on the court on Wednesday was the second longest for him this season. Reeves is shooting 55 percent from the field and 55.4 percent from beyond the arc in his two starts.
