New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson (Stevenson) ended the Detroit Pistons season with a 40-point performance and a game-winning three on Thursday.

During the opening round, Brunson averaged 31.5 points on splits of .436/.333/.815. with four rebounds and 8.2 assists in 40 minutes.

He was 44-for-54 from the free throw line against Detroit. He made 10+ attempts in four of the six games.

He had had one double-double during the series. Brunson has 32 points and 11 assists in Game 4 win on the road.

Brunson also scored 30 points or more in five of the six games.

He had a game-high 40 points (15-33 FG, 3-10 3PT, 7-8 FT) with four rebounds (two offenisve), a team-high seven assists, two turnovers, and a +5 plus-minus in 42 minutes per game. His field goals and field goal attempts were game-highs. His 3-point attempts were a team-high tied with OG Anunoby. Also his free throws and free throw attempts were team-highs.

Los Angeles Clippers defeated Denver Nuggets, 111-105. Clippers rookie Cam Christie (Rolling Meadows) did not play in the win. The series is headed to a Game 7 as the series is now tied 3-3.
