Las Vegas Aces bounce back from back-to-back losses with a win over the Dallas Wings.

Aces held a 49-40 lead but were outscored 30-15 in the third quarter.

Down six points entering the fourth quarter, Las Vegas kept things relatively close throughout the quarter. Aces got within one point at 82-81 when Jackie Young went 2-for-2 from free throw line.

Jewell Loyd (Niles West) extended the Aces 13-0 run when she hits a 3-pointer with 28.1 to give them an 84-82. They held onto that lead and walked away with a 88-84.

Loyd made her ninth start in an Aces uniform.

She had 21 points (7-13 FG, 5-8 3PT, 2-2 FT) with rebounds (one offensive), two assists, a steal, three turnovers, and a -6 plus-minus in 28 minutes.

Gold Mamba’s seven field goals were a team-high with Jackie Young. Also, the 31-year-old’s five 3-pointers were a game-high while her eight 3-point attempts were a game-high tied with three others.

Loyd and the Aces remain at Michelob ULTRA Arena for the third straight game on Sunday, June 15. They take on Phoenix Mercury.
