Minnesota Timberwolves guard Terrence Shannon Jr. (Lincoln Park) was named to the 2025 NBA Summer League First Team on Tuesday.
Coming off a solid rookie campaign, the 24-year-old wanted to make a statement to the T’Wolves and the league in Las Vegas.
And he did.
Shannon Jr. played just played NBA Summer League three games. Minnesota won all three games.
He averaged 22.7 points on shooting splits of .476/385/.947 with six assists, five assists, 1.7 steals, and 3.3 turnovers in 29.3 minutes per game.
His 22.7 points ranked fifth- just 0.3 off of Reed Shepard’s 23 points per game. Shepard. Shepard and the third place finisher (Quenton Jackson) played in a combined three games.
If he keeps playing like, he is headed for a big sophomore campaign.
