Chicago Sky star Angel Reese stays booked and busy.
When she’s not on the court, she can be seen doing business deals or giving back at community events.
Ahead of Friday’s game against the Golden State Valkyries, Reebok had activations going on outside and inside Wintrust Arena.
Reese’s first signature shoe “Angel Reese 1” are set to debut next month on September 18.
The Sky placed a AR 1 shirt on every featuring her manicured hands and nails grabbing a pink ball almost like in her signature rebounding ways.
Outside had a trailer with a hoop attached in all pink with AR logo.
Saturday was even bigger.
The Angel C. Reese Foundation held a community event on the west side of Chicago. Sponsors included Reebok and Chase with many others joining in the efforts to give back to the community in a Back-To-Back Bash event.
Over 2,000 student were given backpacks filled with school supplies. Locals were also treated to games, food and other activities like autographs from special guests.
Chicago native and Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu (Morgan Park) and former Bull and current Orlando Magic forward Wendell Carter Jr. showed up to support.
Reese unfortunately has not played since July 29 but is listed as questionable for the Sky’s game against Seattle Storm on Tuesday.
She was seen practicing on Monday giving Sky fans some hope she will return at some point.
When on the court, she is averaging 14. points on 44.4 percent shooting with 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. She is averaging career-highs in many categories which includes points, field goal percentage, 3-point percentage.
Chicago is 1-8 in her absences this season.
They sit fifth in the Eastern Conference and have the second worst record in all of the WNBA.
Sky have 11 games left in the 2025 season.
