E.J. Liddell (Belleville West) signed a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday.
Liddell spent last season with the Chicago Bulls and their G- League affiliate, Windy City Bulls.
For Chicago, he played just 12 games and averaged 1.8 points on 53.3 percent shooting.
He averaged 15.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game for Windy City.
After missing his rookie season, he’s now headed into his fourth hopefully full season and is eager to become a NBA regular.

Aneesah Morrow (Simeon) had an early exit in the Connecticut Sun’s loss to the Chicago Sky.
A bad collision in the first sent her to the tunnel in the first quarter. She did return to the Sun bench but sat the rest of the game.
She started in the loss but played just five minutes.
Morrow had two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT) with an offensive rebound, a turnover, and -15 plus-minus in the loss.
