Five former Illinois prep stars played in three separate games on October 4.

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson (Stevenson) faced off against Philadelphia 76ers guard Malcolm Hill (Belleville East) in Abu Dhabi. Knicks defeated 76ers 113-104. Brunson started and had 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3PT, 3-4 FT) with a rebound, two assists, two steals, and a +14 plus-minus in 17 minutes. Hill came off the bench and had 15 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3PT, 2-3 3PT) with a rebound, an assist, a steal, two turnovers, and a +1 plus-minus in 14 minutes.

E.J. Liddell (Belleville West) and Danny Wolf (Lake Forest) both came off the bench and helped the Brooklyn Nets defeat Hapoel Jerusalem 123-88. Liddell had a rebound, two turnovers, and a -5 plus-minus in four minutes. Wolf had five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3PT) with five rebounds (three rebounds), five assists, two turnovers, and a -2 plus-minus in 15 minutes.

Terrence Shannon Jr. (Lincoln Park) came off the bench in Minnesota Timberwolves 126-116 win over Denver Nuggets. He had 11 points (2-9 FG, 0-2 3PT, 7-8 FT) with four rebounds, four assists, a turnover, and a +2 plus-minus in 21 minutes.
