Derrick Rose: The MVP
Simeon’s Derrick Rose won the NBA MVP back in 2011. 10 years later, he is still playing well enough that some consider him an MVP.
Starting the year off in Detroit, not much was going on with Rose but after a midseason trade his game helped spark some energy in the Mew York Knicks. Teaming up with the now- NBA Coach of the Year Tom Thibodeau played a huge tole in that. The two have been a player-coach duo in three different cities.
Tuesday, Nikola Jokić won the MVP receiving a majority of the first place votes. Only six player received first place votes and Derrick Rose was one of them. It was announced that Rose’s vote was the consensus fan vote.
