Jahlil Okafor is one of eight NBA player named to Nigeria’s men’s National team for the Olympics in Tokyo.
The preliminary squad under Mike Brown included 49 athlete but was trimmed down to just 16 last week, before they settled with their 12 on Monday. The 12 players below will represent Nigeria at the Olympics in just days.
Okafor played in two of Nigeria’s exhibition and has his best-game against Argentina when he scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He averaged 11 point on 64.3 percent shooting with 6 rebounds (2 offensive, a steal, and 2.5 turnover in just under 17 minutes per game.
