Tuesday evening, five former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes in various NBA games. Below I look into and share each of their NBA performances from December 28.

The Day’s Performance

  • Admiral Schofield (Zion-Benton Township/Orlando Magic)- 13 minutes, 2 points, 1/3 FG, 0/1 3PT, an offensive rebound, 4 total rebounds, 2 turnovers, and -18 in a 127-110 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

  • Talen Horton-Tucker (Simeon/Los Angeles Lakers)- 21 minutes, 2 points, 1/4 FG, 0/2 3PT, 0/1 FT, an offensive rebound, 3 total rebounds, an assist, 2 turnovers, and -2 in a 132-123 win over the Houston Rockets.
  • Andre Iguodala (Lanphier/Golden State Warriors)- 24 minutes, 1 point, 0/2 FG, 0/2 3PT, 1/2 FT, 4 rebounds, a team-high 4 assists (tied with Stephen Curry), 3 turnovers, and a game-worst -9 in a 89-86 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
  • Richaun Holmes (Lockport/Sacramento Kings)- 25 minutes, 9 points, 4/6 FG, 1/2 FT, an offensive rebound, 6 total rebounds, an assist, a team-high 1 steal (tied with many others), a block, and -7 in a 117-111 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
  • Isaiah Roby (Dixon/Oklahoma City Thunder)- 22 minutes, 8 points, 3/7 FG, 1/1 3PT, 1/2 FT, 2 offensive rebounds, 6 total rebounds, an assist, a steal, a block, 2 turnovers, and -4 in a 117-111 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Roby returns to starting lineup after not making a start since October 22, 2021.
