Podcasting has become oversaturated and it seems like they exist for everything and anything nowadays.
But that is okay.
We all have a voice and want to talk about stuff we enjoy. And maybe, just one day it reaches the people you had hoped and the listeners continue to comeback and even rise up.
And with that, I want to let everyone know that I recently joined back into the podcast world with my own show, the Xtra Time Podcast.
Free time does not come around so often so when it does people want to spend it wisely. That why with this show, I am pouring my heart and soul into every aspect and want to provide a quality listen so you do feel it was a waste of time at the end of listening.
This weekly-ish podcast offers a range of insight into sports, music, pop culture and more through 1-on-1 interviews from people in those field in varying capacities. Most will be around 30 minutes with some close to an hour.
The first three episode were recorded in Winter of 2025 when I first started brainstorming the show. They would not end up being posted until March and April of this year.
Since the shows launched, seven episodes have gone live on Apple and Spotify.
Many are on the way with several future guests confirming interest and we are already working on scheduling the interviews. It hurts to wait but it’ll pay off and I am excited to eventually share those episodes.
In the meantime, feel free to check out the ones mentioned below.

Call To Action
In this digital age, every element is critical for the show’s success.
I will alway do my part but could use the listeners help as well.
When you are listening on Apple, click subscribe so you do not miss out on episodes as well as drop a rating and review. I have two ratings and one review on this show so far.
Social media is a must for show promotion so feel free to follow the show’s pages on Instagram and X/Twitter both can be found by seach “xtratimepod” in their respective search bars. Also, I linked them in that sentence too.
A goal for this show is more interaction not just in likes and listens but seeing people connect with my guests and to share commentary after listening more often.
These moments are just as important to the show’s success as each guest on the show too.
What’s Next
This show I am not just the host but the writer, researcher, promoter, social media manager, graphic designer, producer, editor, and so many more. In the past with my KLCR: Loras Radio show and Sideline Icons, these roles were spread out a bit.
It can be challenging and even frustrating at times.
But I am okay with that and I am becoming more patient so nothing gets messed up. During this process, I am working at becoming the best I can become at every single one of those jobs in hopes to keep the listeners listening.
Things take time and I am excited for what is next with the Xtra Time Podcast.
Thank you for stopping by and hope to connect with you all soon.
-Xavier Sanchez, host of the Xtra Time Podcast
