Someone, somewhere, once said, “You look good, you feel good. You feel good, you play good.” The origins of the quote are unclear, but there are some iterations used by NFL great Deion Sanders. The sentiment of the quotes all remains the same because when one is comfortable in their surroundings and they have the tools to succeed, there is a very good chance of that happening. Today, Tennessee Titans want to make this possible for high school students in the Nashville area. The team as well as the Nashville’s Mayor John Cooper are partnering to donate a total of $15 million to an athletic fund to go toward building new fields.
Titans are giving $5 million to the fund while the other two-third will come from “Metro via forthcoming capital spending plans” and private donors.
The result of this partnership will make it possible for every Metro Nashville Public High School (MNPS) to get $1 million to go toward building new sports fields.
Today’s announcement means that by the time the Titans have a new home field for gameday, every public high school in Nashville will have a home field advantage too,”
