March Madness is in full swing and the excitement continues to rage on. The first weekend brought much excitement with several notable team having to hit the road and look toward the future.

Once again many former Illinois high school hoops stars are in this year’s men’s tournament.

Below is the full list of the 38 former Illinois high school basketball athletes that helped their teams make this year’s men’s tournament. The list would be longer if it were to include those from the state of Illinois. Michigan State’s Malik Hall is included despite not graduating from an Illinois high school. He previously spent his first two years at Matea Valley.
