Jahlil Okafor Update
Jahlil Okafor (Whitney Young) and the Indiana Mad Ants (2-3) defeated the Iowa Wolves (4-1), 112-103, which delivered the Wolves their first loss of the season on Monday.
Okafor had 22 points on 9-for-11 shooting (0-1 3PT) with nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, five turnovers, and a +5 plus-minus. He improved his free throw percentage by going 3-for-4 from the line.
This is the second time this season the power forward/center has scored over 20 points. The Mad Ants won both games.
His five turnovers in the win are a season-high.
For those that aren’t familiar, the Mad Ants play at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It is the home of not just the Mad Ants but the Indianapolis Pacers and Indiana Fever too. Mad Ants are the G-League affiliate of the Pacers.
