Max Strus (Stagg) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (31-4) are alone at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The are 7-0 with Strus on the court and have won their last 10 games in double digits.

Strus is still finding his shooters touch as he shooting just under 28 percent on 5.1 3-point attempts. Despite his lack of scoring early into the season, Strus has been finding others ways to be productive.

The 28-year-old had a game-high +24 plus-minus despite playing just 25 minutes while coming off the bench.

Cavs are playing good team basketball and it has resulted in lots wins. Unfortunately, they are not really talked about in depth like other top NBA teams.

Strus spoke with media after their win over Charlotte and talked about his team’s success and their stars.

He has been watching closely all season (one and off the bench) and recognizes his teams strong play. If others don’t, he feels they just are not paying attention.

“They don’t need anymore love,” Strus said. “It’s facts at this point. We got the best record in the NBA. We literally, legitimately, have four All-Stars.”

Strus on his All-Star teammates:

  • Evan Mobley has been the best player on the court for several nights in a row.
  • Donovan Mitchell is Donovan Mitchell.
  • Darius Garland has been phenomenal.
  • My favorite player Jarrett Allen has been sensational. There isn’t anything he can’t do. He just does everything a winning player does and doesn’t ask for anything in return.
