Cleveland Cavaliers star Max Strus took to social media to announce his Max Strus Family Foundation.
Well before his NBA days, Strus has donated time and dollars to several causes that hit close to him. Once he had more to his name, he did not change and stayed true to his words about giving back to others.
Now he feels it’s time to do more and continue to give back to all the communities that supported him over the years.
A key goal of the foundation is “creating a season of community for all by investing in programs that positively impact the communities in which Max has called home.
A few areas of focus which Strus has supported and wants to continuing to support are cancer research, mental health, youth sports, and education.
The work and spread of the his mission continues tonight in Cleveland.
Tonight, Cleveland Cavaliers take on Oklahoma City Thunder in a battle of the two first place team in the NBA but the night is bigger than the game. Cavs are celebrating their Mental Health Awareness Night and to kick things off spoke with Strus.
Strus shared the importance of mental health and checking in on himself and his loved ones in a social post with the Cavs in connection with his new foundation.
To stay up to date on the foundation, follow them on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X/Twitter, YouTube or check out their website.
Also, check out these two stories on Max Strus’ 2023-2024 year and giving back with the help of his Max Strus Camp.
This is just the beginning of an incredible journey. Thank you for your support as we make a meaningful impact together- Max Strus in his social media announcement.
