Max Strus (Stagg) and the Cleveland Cavalier put up a record 91 points in the first half of their 144-101 win over a new-look Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, Feb. 2.

On the Chicago Bulls front, they suffered a loss to Detroit Pistons, 127-119, on Sunday. They seem just about ready for a full tank. It would be in their best interest to give the newly-available minutes to rookie Matas Buzelis (Hinsdale Central)

Buzelis has just nine games with 20 or more minutes. During those games, he averages 11.6 points on shooting splits of .481/.415/.917 with 4.1 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 0.7 turnovers in 24 minutes per game.

Not too bad for a rookie. Expect to see him even more during this final stretch of the season.
