Max Christie (Rolling Meadows) started to find his place in the Los Angeles Lakers lineup but had everything change recently.

Christie was joined by Anthony Davis (Perspectives) in a trade that sent them to the Dallas Mavericks for Luka Doncic. A trade that shook the league and blindsided many.

Despite being sent to Dallas, Christie is not letting the loss of familiarity prevent him from making a big impact with his new team.

Through Prime’s first five Mavs games, Christie is averaging 17 points on shooting splits of .509/.545/.826 with 5.2 rebounds and 3.2 rebounds in 33.6 minutes per game.

He’s scored in double figures in seven straight games and sure look like he is not stopping anytime soon.
