Cleveland Cavaliers defeated Milwaukee Bucks, 112-100. The Cavs have won 14 straight games and Max Strus (Stagg) led the charger in Sunday’s win. He had a team-high 17 options (6-11 Fg, 5-9 3PT) with a team-high nine rebounds, two assists, a steal, two turnovers, and a +17 plus-minus. His six field goals were a team-high while his made 3-pointers and 3-point attempts were game-highs. His four offensive rebounds were also game-high but tied with two others. Strus’ points totals and 3-pointers matched season-highs. He’s had four games with 17 points and five made 3-pointers this season.

Phoenix Suns defeated Dallas Mavericks, 125-116. Max Christie (Rolling Meadows) played in his 15th games and made his eighth start in this game. He had 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 3PT) with three rebounds, two assists, and a zero plus-minus in 37 minutes. Christie has scored in double figures in 11 of his 15 games with the Mavs. Olivier-Maxence Prosper (Lake Forest) did not play due to a right wrist sprain.

Memphis Grizzlies defeated New Orleans Pelicans, 107-104. John Konchar (West Chicago) came off the bench in the win. He had three rebounds (two offensive), a turnover, and a team-worst -13 plus-minus in 10 minutes. This was the seventh time Konchar played more than 10 minutes and finished with zero points. Antonio Reeves (Simeon) also came off the bench but for New Orleans. Reeves’ three made 3-pointers were a game-high tied with three others. Reeves has scored in double figures just three times this season- two of which game in his last two NBA games.

Minnesota Timberwolves defeated San Antonio Spurs, 141-124. Terrence Shannon Jr. (Lincoln Park) came off the bench in the win. He had zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3PT) with two rebounds and a a team-worst -2 plus-minus in eight minutes. This was his 16th straight game for Minnesota.

G League

Delaware Blue Coats defeated Indiana Mad Ants, 108-106. Jahlil Okafor (Whitney Young) started in the loss. He had six points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3PT, 0-1 FT) with 14 rebounds (four offensive), an assist, two blocks, three turnovers, and a +1 plus-minus in 35 minutes.
