He had a game-high 26 points (8-13 FG, 4-6 3PT, 6-6 FT) with a rebound, two assists, a block, a turnover, and a +21 plus-minus in a game-high 33 minutes. His eight field goals were a team-high with Amen Thompson while his 13 field goal attempts were a team-high with Dillon Brooks. VanVleet’s four 3-pointers were another game-high.
Minnesota Timberwolves defeated Los Angeles Lakers, 103-96. T’Wolves rookie Terrence Shannon Jr. (Lincoln Park) did not play in the win. Jordan Goodwin (Althoff Catholic) also did not play in the Lakers loss. Minnesota takes the series in five games and advances to the second round.
