Cleveland Cavaliers Max Strus (Stagg) scored a playoff career-high 23 points including five 3-pointers in a tough loss to the Indian Pacers on Tuesday.

Indiana Pacers defeated Cleveland Cavaliers, 120-119. Max Strus (Stagg) started for the Cavs. He had 23 points (8-18 FG, 5-12 3PT, 2-2 FT) with eight rebounds (five offensive), four assists, two turnovers, and a team-worst -14 plus-minus in a game-high 39 minutes. His five 3-pointers were a game-high tied with Indiana’s Aaron Nesmith while his 12 3-point attempts were a game-high. Another game-high were his five offensive rebounds.
Strus’ field goals, field goal attempts, offensive rebounds, and points were all playoff career-highs and he tied his playoff-best in 3-pointers.
The five offensive rebounds are tied for the most he’s had in any NBA game. Strus had five in a 112-111 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder as a member of the Miami Heat on January 10, 2023.
Golden State Warriors defeated Minnesota Timberwolves, 99-88. T’wolves rookie Terrence Shannon Jr. (Lincoln Park) had zero points (0-1 FG) and a -1 plus-minus in two minutes off the bench.
