Minnesota’s Julius Randle scored the first points of the night on a 3-pointer 25 seconds into the game on Wednesday. It gave the Minnesota Timberwolves their first and only lead of the night. By the end of the quarter, they were down 26-9 and later 65-32 at the half to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Minnesota nearly matched their first half total when they outscored Oklahoma City 30-23 in the third but would fall 124-94 in Game 5 sending OKC to the NBA Finals.

This marked the final game for T’Wolves rookie Terrence Shannon Jr. (Lincoln Park).

He played his third consecutive game of the playoffs for the first time. He came off the bench in all three.

Shannon Jr. had 11 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3P, 4-4 FT) with a rebound, a steal, a turnover, and a -10 plus-minus in 16 minutes in Game 5.

During those the back-to-back-to-back perfromacnes, Shannon Jr. avaerged 11.7 points while shooting 52.6 from the field and 37.5 from beyond the arc. He also went
