Las Vegas Aces defeated Seattle Storm, 75-70. Jewell Loyd (Niles West) started and had 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3PT, 2-3 FT) with seven rebounds (one offensive), four assists, a game-high four steals, two turnovers, and a -4 plus-minus in 28 minutes for the Aces. Her 3-pointers were a team-high tied with two others. Her seven rebounds were also a team-high tied with two others as well.

Candace Parker (Naperville Central) was in the Chicagoland area for a book signing of her new book “The Can-Do Mindset.”

On Sunday, she caught a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field and even threw out the first pitch.
