No Thursday WNBA games but it is not to late to look back at what took place on Wednesday evening.

While there have been a drop in viewership due to Caitlin Clark being out with an injury, there is plenty of players, teams, storylines still worth following.

Hopefully Clark returns soon but do not stopping tuning in as there are plenty of talent on display.

Los Angeles Sparks defeated Las Vegas Aces, 97-89.

Rickea Jackson drops a game-high and career-high 30 points to lead the Sparks to their third win.

Azura Stevens had a 19 points and 11 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season.

Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young (34) combined for 62 of the Ace’s 89 points

Aces shot 26-for-29 from the free throw in the loss.

A’ja Wilson scored just 13 points and shot 2-for-12 from the field in the loss.

Phoenix Mercury defeated Dallas Wings, 93-80.

Mercury bench put up 34 points in the win.

Satou Sabally had a team-high 20 points and nine rebounds in the win.

Mercury shot really well especially from beyond the arc. They went 15-for-35 from 3-point range.

Alyssa Thomas had the only double-double of the night with 11 points and 10 assists.

While Mercury got the win, the game was highlight by Paige Buecker’s 35 point night. She also had six rebounds, four assists, a steal, a block, a turnover, and a -12 plus-minus in the loss.

Seattle Storm defeated Minnesota Lynx, 94-84.

Storm handed Lynx their first loss of the season as they win their third straight game.

All the Storm starters were in double figures scoring with Nneka Ogwumike’s double double leading the way. She had a team-high 21 points (9-14 FG, 2-4 3PT, 1-3 FT) with 10 rebounds (three offensive), four assists, two steals, two turnovers, and a +16 plus-minus in 32 minutes.

Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier had a game-high 25 points (9-23 FG, 1-4 3PT, 6-6 FT) with nine rebounds (two offensive), five assists, and three blocks. She’s scored 20 or more points in seven of her nine games.

There are two games on Friday, June 13.

Chicago Sky visit College Park (Georgia) for a matchup against the Atlanta Dream and play at 6:30 PM.

Wings visit Aces for a game in Las Vegas (Nevada) at 9 PM.
