The Los Angeles Dodgers have a strong roster but no one has a bigger name than Shohei Ohtani.

And that is not all hype either.

Ohtani seems to alway delivers at the plate. And to no surprise his hitting hitting has carried him into MVP conversations yet again.

And the noise doesn’t stop there either. Despite just two games into the postseason, he’s reeked havoc on opposing pitchers.

In the two wins against the Cincinnati Reds, Ohtani had three home runs and four runs batted in across nine at-bats.

While his stats were tough enough, it was the nod to Reds manager Terry Franco was even tougher.

He did this coming off a 10-5 beatdown of Cincinnati in which two of those home runs happened in the game.

While some see it as a sign of respect to his competitor, it’s a show of dominance.

He knows this is ‘Ohtani’s World’ and the rest of the league has to be ready for his terror.

With him being able to hit and pitch, it’s hard to stay away from his menacing.

And to top it all off, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has announced that Ohtani will start Game 1 of the National League Division Series.

This will be his first time in pitching in the postseason as he did not pitch in 2024.

This season, he started 14 games and went went 1-1 with a 2.87 ERA across 47 innings. He finished with 62 strikeouts to just nine walks allowed.

Tune in Saturday, October 4 to catch Ohtani on the mound as the Dodgers take on the Philadelphia Phillies.
