New Orleans Pelicans guard Jeremiah Fears (Joliet West) made his NBA debut on Wednesday.
In his first career NBA game, the first rounder played 18 minutes off the bench for the New Orleans in their 128-122 road loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
He went on to score 17 points (7-10 FG, 0-1 3PT, 3-3 FT) with two assists, two turnovers, and a -10 plus-minus.
They joke with his last name and jersey number but when people watch him play, there seems to be absolutely no fear in the rookie. Through his first game of competition, he looks ready to make a statement this season.
To celebrate his accomplishment, Topps recognized him with one of their daily Topps Now cards. It is just the 15th card in their new series.

It is available on their website to purchase until Saturday, October 25.
