Former Illinois Prep Athletes and their NBA Performances- May 19 Recap

Wednesday evening, two former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes in a NBA game. Below I look into and share each of their NBA performances from May 19.

Best of the day: Anthony Davis

Perspectives’ Anthony Davis struggled in the first half as he only scored 4 points on 2 of 12 shooting. He finished with 25 points in the Lakers win.

  • Anthony Davis (Perspectives/Lakers)- 42 minutes, a team-high 25 points, 10/24 FG, 1/6 3PT, 4/4 FT, 2 offensive rebounds, a team-high 12 total rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, a block, a team-high 3 turnovers, and +2 in a 103-100 win over the Warriors.

The rest of the performances of the day:

  • Talen Horton-Tucker (Simeon/Lakers)- 6 minutes, 3 points, 1/2 FG, 1/2 3PT, a steal, a turnover, and +1 in a 103-100 win over the Warriors.
