Tuesday evening, five former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes in a NBA game. Below I look into and share each of their NBA performances from May 25.

Best of the day: Anthony Davis

  • Anthony Davis (Perspectives/Lakers)- 40 minutes, a game-high 34 minutes, 7/15 FG, 2/4 3PT, 18/21 FT, an offensive rebound, 10 total rebounds, 7 assists, a steal, a game-high 3 blocks, a turnovers, and +6 in a 109-102 win over the Suns

The rest of the performances of the day:

  • Talen Horton-Tucker (Simeon/Lakers)- 6 minutes, 1 point, 0/2 FG, 0/2 3PT, 1/2 FT, a turnover, and -6 in a 109-102 win over the Suns.

  • Jalen Brunson (Stevenson/Mavericks)- 17 minutes, 9 points, 4/7 FG, 1/1 FT, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, a turnover, and -7 in a 127-121 win over the Clippers.
  • Patrick Beverly (Marshall/Clippers)- 23 minutes, 3 points, 1/4 FG, 1/3 3PT, 3 assists, a steal, a block, and -11 in a 127-121 loss to the Mavericks.
  • Jabari Parker (Simeon/Celtics)- 6 minutes, 2 points, 1/2 FG, 2 rebounds, 2 turnovers, and -5 in a 130-108 loss to the Nets.
