Story of the Night: Marshall’s Keifer Sykes’ Big Night

Marshall grad Keifer Sykes came into the evening with a chance at $1 million if #3 Boeheims Army can pull off a win against #6 Team 23 in the final game of The Basketball Tournament. It would be Sykes’ who secures more than just the win after his game winner.

Late in the fourth quarter, Team 23 was leading 67-66 and needing just a basket to be the first to 69 to secure a win. They had a couple chances and fell short. Boeheims Army’s Keifer Sykes walked the ball up drove to the three point line and pulled up on his defender. SWISH. AND GAME.
