Niles West’s Jewell Loyd ties career-high with 35 points in a Storm Loss

Wednesday evening, Niles West’s Jewell Loyd gave the the New York Liberty a ton of trouble for three quarters. Unfortunately for her and the Seattle Storm, they struggled shooting in the fourth and dropped the game 83-79 to the Liberty.

Seattle held a 72-62 lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Storm were outscored 21-7 in the final quarter while they went 2 of 13 from the field (1 of 7 from 3). All of Loyd’s 35 points came in the first three quarters. She went 0 for 6 from the field and 0 for 2 from beyond the arc in the final quarter of the Storm loss.
