A lot of storylines come out from the Little League World Series. Some are better than others and one of those is Gavin Weir and his pitching dominance. Wednesday, Weir completed a no-hitter for his Sioux Fall, S.D. team by going six no-hit hitting while striking out fourteen California batters in a 1-0 win to help his team advance to the next round.
The 12-year-old has been stellar over his last eight outings. He is 8-0 in his last 8 starts while tossing 43.2 innings, allowing 1 hit, 0 runs, 6 walks and striking out 114 batters. Absolutely bonkers. Video game numbers out of this kid.
It was also his fourth no-hitter of the summer.
