Anthony Davis (Perspectives) got married to his longtime Marlen P last weekend. The wedding guests included everything from family, friends, teammates, coaches, and more. Those in attendance include John Calipari, Rich Paul, Adele, Lebron James, and many several other notable names.
Monday, September 20
NBA workouts are underway. Max Strus (Stagg) can be seen chasing down a ball and saving it from going out of bounds in the video below.
Iman Shumpert (Oak Park-River Forest) is taking part in the 30th season of the Dancing With The Stars with his dance partner Daniella Karagach. A video of his performance to Outkasts’ “Hey Ya” went viral on Twitter shortly after it aired.
Another Chicago native even had some words to say. Dwyane Wade (Richards) shared the tweet below.
Tuesday, September 21
Four-time NCAA champ and WNBA champ Morgan Tuck (Bolingbrook) went on the Champions of Change: The RISE Podcast. She discussed her transition to the Connecticut Sun front office, leading the team’s social justice initiatives, bias and Black women athletes leading in advocating for change.
Admiral Schofield (Zion-Benton) signed with the Orlando Magic and will wear the number 25. Last season (14 games- 11 starts), Schofield averaged 10.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game in 26.2 minute per game for the Greensboro Swarm.
Wednesday, September 22
Chasson Randle (Rock Island) is joining the Phoenix Suns on a training camp deal. Last season, he played for the Oklahoma City before being traded and splitting time with the Orlando and Lakeland Magic. In 41 NBA games (5 starts), Randle averaged 6.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists in 20.4 minutes per game for Orland.
Paul White (Whitney Young) announced in an Instagram story that he tore his ACL in his final Summer League game while playing for the Utah Jazz.
Thursday, September 23
Matt Mooney (Notre Dame Prep) shared an image of his new NBA locker. He is joining the Golden State Warriors and will wear number 50.
Friday, September 24
