Thursday evening, five former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes in various NBA games. Below I look into and share each of their NBA performances from January 13.

Best of the Day: John Konchar

John Konchar (West Chicago) put on a show Thursday night. His 15 point-17 rebound evening paved the wave to his second career-double and the eleventh straight win for the Memphis Grizzlies. The 17 rebounds were not just a game-high but a career-high for John Konchar.

Oh..and this came all while coming off the bench.

  • John Konchar (West Chicago/Memphis Grizzlies)- 30 minutes, 15 points, 6/7 FG, 3/4 3PT, 3 offensive rebounds, 17 total rebounds, 3 assists, and +15 in a 116-108 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
