Former Illinois Prep Athletes and their NBA Performances- February 12 and 13

Saturday and Sunday, nine former Illinois prep athletes saw minutes on Wednesday and six on Thursday in various NBA games. Below I look into and share each of their NBA performances from February 12 and 13.

Best of the Day:

Saturday

  • Ayo Dosunmu (Morgan Park/Chicago Bulls)- 42 minutes, 12 points, 5/8 FG, 2/4 3PT, 8 rebounds, a team-high 9 assists, a steal, 3 turnovers, and +1 in a 106-101 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Sunday

  • Patrick Beverly (Marshall/Minnesota Timberwolves)- 30 minutes, 13 points, 4/8 FG, 3/6 3PT, 2/2 FT, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal, 2 blocks, 3 turnovers, and a plus-minus of zero in a 129-126 win over the Indiana Pacers.

  • Isaiah Roby (Dixon/Oklahoma City Thunder)- 24 minutes, 7 points, 3/6 FG, 1/3 3PT, a team-high 2 offensive rebounds (tied with Aleksek Pkusevski), 4 total rebounds, an assist, a game-high 3 steals, a game-high 3 blocks (tied with Darius Bazley), a turnover, and +1 in a 106-101 loss to the Chicago Bulls.
  • John Konchar (West Chicago/Memphis Grizzlies)- 20 minutes, 8 points, 3/8 FG, 2/5 3PT, an offensive rebound, 4 total rebounds, a steal, a block, and -4 in a 125-119 win over the Charlotte Hornets.
