Chicago is seeing RED thanks to a strong showing from the Chicago Bulls this season. Despite the injuries, they remain one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference and are ready to make a run come playoff time. Unfortunately, they lacked rebounding and were near the bottom in offensive rebounds and total rebounds. Bulls exec Artūras Karnišovas continued to work some magic and has brought in Tristan Thompson to join the Bulls and provide some depth to the roster.
Chicago is Thompson’s fifth different team since joining the NBA. He currently averages 9.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, an assist, 0.5 steals and 0.7 blocks per game across 707 career games.
This season, he is averaging 6.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game between his time with the Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers.
Thursday, Thompson finished with 11 points while going 3 of 3 from the field and 5 of 8 from the line with 6 rebounds (2 offensive), an assist, a steal, and a plus-minus of zero in 13 minutes in the Chicago Bulls 112-108 win over the Atlanta.
“I just play hard… do whatever it takes to win, whether it’s set screens, dive for loose balls, finish around the rim. Whatever my team needs to win, that’s all that matters.”
