Golden State Warriors defeated Houston Rockets, 103-85. Fred VanVleet (Auburn) started in the loss. He had 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 3PT, 2-2 FT) with seven rebounds (two offensive), three assists, two steals, three turnovers, and a -5 plus-minus in a team-high 44 minutes. His 3-pointers and 3-point attempts were team-highs. His two steals were a game-high tied with Warriors’ Stephen Curry. His three turnovers were a game-worst Alperen Sengun. Warriors take Game 7 from Rockets and advance to the second round.

Indiana Pacers defeated Cleveland Cavaliers, 121-112. Max Strus (Stagg) had seven points (2-9 FG, 2-8 3PT, 1-2 FT) with seven rebounds (two offensive), three assists, two steals, a team-high one block, and a -6 plus-minus in 32 minutes. His two 3-pointers were a team-high tied with two others. Strus’ one block was not only a team-high but the only block by a Cavs player. Indiana leads Cleveland 1-0 in the conference semifinals with Sunday’s win.
